Sean oversees Sphera’s North American Sustainability Consulting team and, for over 15 years, has supported a wide variety of corporate and investment community clients on the development of strategies and programs that drive sustainability and ESG performance throughout their operations. ​

Prior to Sphera, Sean was an ESG consultant at Bridge House Advisors supporting the investment community to develop ESG strategies and programs that facilitate strong, transparent reporting, provide investment professionals with solid structures for identifying and quantifying ESG risk, reporting to external stakeholders, and identifying opportunities for value creation via targeted, strategic initiatives to improve the ESG and sustainability performance of investment targets.  ​

Sean also spent approximately 10 years at Waste Management (WM), culminating as Managing Principal of WM’s Sustainability Services consulting team, a full-service sustainability consultancy providing advisory services to Fortune 500 companies to help develop sustainability programs and drive performance toward goals. During his time at WM, Sean helped his clients with sustainability, waste minimization, and reporting strategy, developed frameworks to assess organizational sustainability maturity, helped launch ENSPIRE, WM’s data-driven business intelligence platform, and supported WM’s annual GRI-aligned corporate sustainability report with both content creation and data collection and management.
